More communication. I had to reach out to PennyMac for all updates/status. Online uploads were done - PennyMac would say they didn't receive them.

All things considered (such as the influx of refinancing due to the rate environment), the communication was as good as could be expected. This rating is not reflective of the the LONG time my loan spent with underwriting. There were also days and at one time more than a week that I waited for a follow up from Linda, but I attributed this to the aforementioned influx of customers. I REALLY appreciated having two people dedicated to my refinance--my loan officer, Floyd, and loan agent, Linda.

Edna was so wonderful to work with—she made this refinance such a positive experience. Very helpful, she kept in touch the whole time, and was quick to respond to questions.

The experience was awesome. We did not have to leave our home for anything and Paulette called us weekly with updates and answered our questions. She was very knowledgeable and professional when speaking with her. The time frame given to us in the beginning was the great and they stayed on schedule. The closing was done at the home. The closing agent was very professional and observed the social distancing as well as wearing her mask. She was quick and efficient.
