Prior to closing day there were issues w/the online portal that delayed my already lengthy closing length by an additional four days. Also, portal issues required me & my loan specialist to spend hours finding a workaround f/me to receive a document for signature. Lastly, a few of the automatic emails sent out when a request for documents is added to the portal could provide more information on signature deadlines. I’d like to stress none of these issues were my loan specialist’s fault.

Everything went smoothly and quick. Lowering our interest and payments made it all worth it. Good time to refinance.
I love PennyMac. Now do to the fact of this being my first home, so first time refinancing as well, a lot of things were like a foreign language to me! However, all of my questions were answered thoroughly and everything explained to me in great detail. I am pleased with the service of my PennyMac Team!! Thsnk you all!

I had many questions during the process but when I called my reps # or emailed I got an auto generated email reply and the phone answering service went in loops and eventually dismissed the call due to high call volume.
I understand that we're living in different times right now, but a few things about the process could've gone better. 1) I confirmed with PM that my signing would take place at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday. I then received a confirmation email from the notary for 1 p.m. When I called to try to reschedule, they said that 1 was their earliest availability. 2) I haven't received much explanation of the process in general. Notary's are no help understanding the process of refinancing.
