Pretty efficient process compared to other mortgage experiences. I wish the document requests were more consistent between email notifications and online status tracking. That said, I didn't have to provide documents more than once and there were no document request "surprises" due to underwriting and customer service not being on the same page.
Hermes was great. Other than that I feel like I was ignored for weeks in end. My original closing date provided was end of aug. it took till the end of September.
Service was friendly, timely, and accurate. Good communication and answered any and all questions I had.
Our experience was great with Jennifer and the MAC Team. This was the easiest refinance that I have been through over the years. Everyone went above and beyond in spite of the COVID environment and a huge number of applications due to the rate changes. I would recommend them in the future.
I didn't appreciate being called that the loan was closing on the same day that my mortgage came out of my checking account. When I asked the loan officer, she said she's let me know the steps 2 days before the the notary would come to sign. She never called and instead I had to track her down.
Edna was very responsive and helpful with my loan.

This was a refinance of an original VA loan. When I contacted penny Mac they agreed to match the other offers that I had and set up for closing their an awesome group to work with I'm glad I stayed with them rather than changing companies I would highly recommend jerica and everyone else on the team 100% and the closer they sent to my house for my closing I was phenomenal
