Loan documents were originally messed up for first closings. I had to ask for it, however PennyMac did make it right by giving me a discount at closing. So at the end I was satisfied.
Barbara was great and very helpful through the process. Very pleased!
The process of refinancing was quick and far easier than I had expected. From the beginning conversation explaining potential options, to discussing specifics with the loan officer, to signing the documents with the notary within my home. Communication was swift and the people were personable.
Shay Culver was seriously the best part about my refinancing. She's prompt, courteous, kind & compassionate towards me as a person. She was patient when i was confused about getting multiple emails requesting the same documents over & over. She answered every question, returned every call & when i couldn't get in touch with my loan officer, she did what she could do to make sure i wasn't left wondering what happened or why. Shay Culver is what great customer service looks like.
The process was really easy because of the nature of my loan. A streamlined refi. But it took a long time for underwriting to get things finalized. Other than that everything was great
They were very clear and precise and I couldn’t of asked for a easier refinance process.
Communication....clear communication was lacking and still is.
First, to be clear the individuals were good to work with but they are only as good as the system. We had all our docs into Pmac within the first week but it still took 3-4 months to finish a refi that Pmac had our original note. I realize some of this is the mess Covid made so please take that into consideration.
