Loan closing was fast and without issue. Everyone were talked to was helpful and responsive. Closing costs were higher than I would have liked, but we got a great rate, which will save us a lot of money in the end. Overall, was a positive experience.

It was frustrating to have my closing delayed by inaccuracies on my documents that I had already flagged for the PennyMac team weeks prior (i.e. my wife's name was misspelled on the documents).

Fast, efficient process with excellent communication throughout. Online interface is easy to understand and utilize to upload documents and track progress.

I didn't receive clear or sometimes any communication from my loan processor to my questions. I am still waiting on answers and we signed our closing papers last week. I had a late payment charged because we didn't close in August and I was assured that it would be removed, but it was included in the closing documents. I sent many different emails and left voicemails and never received answers or responses.
