Loan process took way to long and closing was about a month short of goal. Requested documents had to be provided more than once. Customer relationship staff were courteous, professional and easy to work with.
I attempted several times to find out why I was being charge .05 point that came out to over 2000 dollars at closing. This was something that I never agreed too. The day of signing docs the charge was still there and at the point I signed just so we can move forward. This same situation happen to me on my last refi with Penny Mac however on that refi the point charge was removed. I feel that Penny mac was not transparent.
My experience was great pennymac. Everyone was very pleasant and professional.
It was difficult getting a response to questions I had. My closing costs were much higher than I was originally told. It took months longer to close than I was originally told.
I really appreciated the fact that I could call to ask questions and get a real person right away. I felt respected and cared for by your team from the first inquiry to the close of the deal.
Closing Disclosure was not presented to me before actual closing. Loan Amount was different than agreed to in previously signed Closing Disclosure. Monthly payment and money due back to me was changed in revised Closing Disclosure presented at closing. My closing documents did not accurately reflect the agreed loan amount, monthly payment, and closing costs

It would have been better if Raveena did not get loud and aggressive during one of the calls and apologize that she had too much coffee to drink. Besides working with her, the rest of the process was fantastic. Michael was great, easy to work with and set clear expectations. The website allows you to upload certain files, but does not show you if the upload was successful. This was very frustrating when I continued to get emails saying that documents were needed after I uploaded them already.
Your application process and online component was wonderful, your employees that I spoke to on the phone we extremely polite and friendly, and transparent. Everything was great, I am very happy with our refinance.
