I feel that the current COVID-19 crisis impacted the overall timeline for our refinance, and possibly the service. Ultimately it wasn’t a horrible process by any means, it just seems like it took a really really long time.

Me not having to explain the same thing about my documents over and over and over. About my retirement paperwork that I only get once a year. And that the amount that is deposited into that account is clearly on my paystubs

Beth and John from PennieMac were both great to work with and are amazing examples of what a mortgage transaction should look like. They were prompt, communicative, and easy to work with. The initial process was very smooth and almost seemed unbelievable, near the end, things did slow down due to some issues inside and outside of their control. This did ultimately cause us to close 7 days late on our loan, which was frustrating, but luckily did not break our deal.
