Communication across groups was not effective therefore I was asked for the same documentation on several occasions despite having uploaded everything that was needed into my loan’s portal. In addition the portal was confusing and designed in a way that’s hard for an applicant to understand how to upload and confirm documentation has been provided.

Very good communications between PennyMac representatives across the board. The use of computer interfaces to process documents is a real plus. The people we worked with were great and made all the difference.

We were so pleased with the whole process of refinancing our home through PennyMac. Our rep, Eliud (Daniel), called frequently to be sure there were no questions and let us know when to expect certain docs. It was a very professional, fast, and easy process. . .and we never had to leave our home (very good for us in these Covid times)! We've dealt with many mortgage companies over the years. . .PennyMac was by far the best!

The refi process was essentially effortless. It did not require any leg work on my part and the closing occured at my home with an atty who notarized the paperwork.
