I was not happy with the length of time my loan took to be completed. No one should have to wait 3 months. It ruined my summer and I had to find a new more expensive contractor to do my home improvements.
Decent Job done to get my loan closed in 40 days in such an extremely busy time.
Our experience overall was great. There were some delayed email responses and some miscommunication, but it all worked out in the end.
PennyMac Loan Services were great with me in the past and now. This the reason why I refinance with them.
Dislikes: loan processor changed mid way through loan. Documents were asked for more than once that had already been submitted. However, those were minor compared to the day of closing. I needed to go to my bank to get cashiers check. I needed exact figure to do that. I could not get ahold of PennyMac after multiple attempts, within their business hours, so I called the title company. They told me a cash to close figure that was nearly $2,000.00 more than had been communicated to me by Pe
Communication was terrible. I was told I would close on time and it didn’t happen. Myself, realtor and parent had to send multiple emails just to get responses. Penny Mac made the home buying process difficult and stressful
