Refinancing is always a lengthy process. The penny Mac team was on top of every detail with folks from coast to coast working remotely during a pandemic. The entire process was seamless. Thank you everyone for taking the stress out of this endeavor and creating a very pleasant experience for me.
Great experience from the very beginning to the end! Our representative (Sarahi) was very informative, tentative to our questions and made sure we fully understood resulting in a speedy and smooth process; and it was done with a smile😊.
We didn't close on the original closing date. The mobile notary informed us of requiring over $3,000 for the closing which was not accurate as per our loan documents and that was not communicated to us by any member of Penny Mac. We did close 3 weeks after our original date and the documents were not accurate then. Very frustrating to make contact with Penny Mac. Games of voice mail tag and not being able to get through the phone system because of the heavy call volume. Barely acceptable

Marcia Wiggins is an exceptional representative of your company. She was clear and accurate with everything I needed as well as working through any issues I had immediately. She was, as well, a pleasent voice on the phone. May not seem like much but her friendly demeaner is not the norm in customer service yet she makes it look easy. That alone is reason enough for me to stay with Pennymac
The process took 5 months. There was no direct Contact number to communicate and if emailing then it took a week for each response. I got numerous closing documents. I had mixed messages about subordination and didn’t know if it was going ahead or not. It was recommended to try for subordination and then the application got denied. Communication was not clear. The time difference also made communication difficult.
