With the current situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it would have been more helpful if your staff got better support from their supervisor's that had authority to correct errors in the documentation and charges that should not have been applied to the closing documents. There was no one to talk to get it resolved. We had better communication and follow up with the closing company who also expressed concerns about lack of communication and responsiveness.
Complete lack of communication and incorrect closing documents including fees added at the last minute which were inaccurate...we we charged for an appraisal which never took place. We ask for the fee to be removed and it was but should have never been added in the first place. We did not require an escrow account and yet our closing documents still had "Yes" checked for escrow. Each time we requested to speak with Penny Mac it took several calls and days for them to be returned.
Not sure who's fault, but coosing was supposed to be Mat 5th and notary said was unable to get documents. Also was told would get $2000 at closing, but when signing documents was $600. Verified the prior week the $2k, so surprised, but didn't want paperwork delayed even more so just signed docs.
