the ease of document signing over email was great
everything was absolutely wonderful, except at the time of closing i had to write a check for an amount i had opted to have folded back into the loan amount. it wasnt a disaster, just unplanned for and unexpected. we were a little embarrassed that we werent prepared. it all worked out in the end. Terrence and Charles were absolutely first class, very proffessional and very friendly.
It was the easiest process for buying or refinancing I I’ve ever been involved in!!
Depend too much on email and the portal; received conflicting closing pdocuments and incorrect information; closing docs had different information than what was verbally promised; had to drive 75 miles one way for closing; I know it was a difficult time time, but contingencies should be planned for.
Ruben Sanchez the person I started the whole process was AWESOME! Even after his part of the process was over anytime I needed clarity or had a question about what was needed he was extremely helpful and let me know what I needed to do and explained everything extremely well! I was contemplating getting quotes and stuff elsewhere but he was one of the main reasons I stayed with PennyMac, I would recommend him to everyone for help!

Kristen Griffin and Jonathan Ryan were excellent to work with and very clear. The issues came into play if I spoke to anyone other than them about my loan. One representative told me don't worry about a VA form, which had blatantly incorrect information on it, and to sign if I felt comfortable. I refused to sign because the information was incorrect. The other issues that frustrated the process was the lack of information on my loan by anybody other than Kristen and Jonathan.
