The reason we will always go with PennyMac is because of their price match guarantee or whatever. Where you offer a lower price than anything we’ve been offered previously. The saved money is worth the cost of not being able to work with people in-person. Which we greatly prefer to over the phone. But like I said, it’s worth it and we do plan on going with PennyMac in the future.
1). The speed in which the came to completion was somewhat to fast for us as we have not had to dealwith a mortgage for many years. 2). Over the years we did have a motgage, we had never had a compnay call and offer to do refinancing and we were very surprised that our current mortgage was only 7 months old. 3). Upon the pending closing, I did reach out and communicated a shortage was apparent on property taxes as this is a newly constructed home. I sent a proposed statement but to no avail.
Lana was very professional and responded quickly to my questions. She is definitely an asset to your company.
The purpose of refinancing was to get rid of PMI I still have to pay 1200 for PMI. If I would have known I would not have taken the 2000 in cash. I was not informed of this until closing and it took almost 1 month longer than I was told to close, so I did not want to go through everything again. Communication was poor and every week was requesting a new document.

I was given several different closing amounts ranging from in the 600s to the high 2000s. I really like Pennymac as a year ago when I did a streamline the person that was in charge did an outstanding job with the numbers. This time it wasn’t so accurate although in the end it was to my advantage.
