From the moment I made my application your phone system began redirecting all calls to any pennymac number to the loan processing department. This made it very difficult for me to discuss alternate loan scenarios. I was unable to review these alternate scenarios until the day before scheduled closing on the original scenario. After closing and funding I attempted to call to speak about a home equity line of credit. All of my calls to your offices continue to be redirected.

The refinance process began on August 8th and had a target close date of October 8th. I finished providing all necessary documents by August 15th. October 8th came and went and I had very little communication along the way. The loan payoff retrieval was a nightmare as I was asked for it about five different times from October 26th until November 14th. The underwriting process took over a month to execute as we didn't close until December 6th (over 4 months to close!!!). Overall a very poor job.

The overall process from start to finish was made easy by the PennyMac representative. All pertinent information regarding the refinancing was communicated to me and I was made aware of required documents or actions to take to complete the process.
