We were originally charged $13,000 in origination fees. A ridiculous amount when compared to other lenders only charging 1% of loan or a flat fee. The loan officers never called me back, even after Claudia promised I would hear back by end of day. Matt was horrible but he did negotiate a $2800 credit from origination costs because I was going to cancel the entire loan. The experience that I had with PennyMac was incredible. They were prompt and communicative. They got back with me as expeditiously as possible and all my questions were answered. I definitely recommend them and I look forward to keeping them as my lender. Wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 Stars.

So my signing date changed and I wasn’t notified until I called in to confirm. That was the only issue but to me it was significant. A call, a text, an explanation. Besides that Janet was professional and courteous.

My refinance was handled very well. There were some errors along the way. But nothing is ever perfect in this world. And it wasn't that big of a deal to be completely honest with you.
