Overall I would say this was a fantastic experience. Lauren and Blake at PennyMac were overwhelmingly kind, friendly, helpful and professional. I am so thankful I got to work with them. Everyone with the PennyMac organization was knowledgable, prompt, and communicated with excellence and responsiveness. However, the efforts of the separate title company, Doma, were less than stellar and were the opposite of PennyMac in almost every way. If it had not been for Sandi McMillin, we would have gone elsewhere. The process prior to her taking over was horrible. She really came to the rescue. Our original application date was December 12, 2021. We just closed on March 24, 2022. There is no way a refinancing (with the same company) should have taken this long. It was a comedy of mistakes that went on and on until Sandi got the case. she is fantastic at what she does. she is very personable and has a "lets get this done" attitude.
