So many issues. The same documents were requested over and over. No one seemed to communicate with each other, so anytime information was shared with PennyMac, the next day was like dejavu. Grace addressed me by the wrong name numerous times and had to be told each week that the closing date was incorrect. She could not answer any questions that I had after the closing disclosure was sent. I am still waiting for an appraisal deposit refund from PennyMac and it has been over a month. We had a hard time getting clear communication, and we had documents that were submitted but not properly filed or lost because they were requested again. We were often uncertain about what was being done in the background and what the timeline was for closing.
Jocelyn was so wonderful to work with and she always took my calls and had the answer right away. We had a problem with another lending company trying to mimic PennyMac and she handled it quickly and properly. She is a very valuable employee and you are lucky to have her.

The Pennymac portal was easy to use
Clear communication, clear expectation, patience with me (as I am new to many of the concepts and sometimes have to have things explained to me in more than one way and more than one time). Projecting a supportive vibe and making me feel comfortable (I suspect that for most of us, legal documents, and signing papers is scary).
Clear and honest answers! All involved were very knowledgeable and professional. My only problem was submitting documents to many times for the underwriting company’s.
