I found the loan process with the PennyMac Team amazing. Emails were responded to within hours. Questions were promptly and clearly answered. Uploading requested documents was very easy.
Multiple requests for the same documents. We had to contact for what was needed and learned that they were having difficulty seeing the documents clearly. Had to track down money today as the wire transfer did not go through. Took 4 phone calls to get it straightened out with several minutes on hold.
Easy process and quick turn around!
Yester and PennyMac made this a smooth and painless process. Despite the persistence of other lenders it just seemed to be a better choice to stick with PennyMac for the refinance.
Paulette Wiley was very knowledge and pleasant which made the refinance experience even better.
Shay was the pillar throughout the transaction. Even though the closing had to be postponed due to errors on the payoff in the closing docs it was Shay who helped get things sorted out quickly. Old loan servicing sold during eefi process so in fairness it wasn't really anyone's fault. All in all a good experience and you can't beat the 1.99 rate.
The communication during the process was great. The cost of closing was expensive.
Great experience overall. So quick and completely painless. An amazing team to work with.
