Any accurate and timely communication would have been appreciated. I started the loan process Oct 28th and Closed Jan 30. I made phone calls daily in the month of January just to find out process and approvals and every call (none with Emma) ended with different outcome with individuals telling me they would call back to verify only to not have that happen. So I would call the next day only to have to go through the very same exercise with the same outcome.
Everything was well communicated and the process was very fast. And most importantly it saved me a bunch of money!
Great experience with no problems...
I was asked for the same document three times only to find it had been received the first time and misfiled. I also kept receiving demand notices to payoff my loan when I was refinancing the original loan. I was told to disregard these notices. At times I felt the communication among the staff at PennyMac was lacking.

Our first interaction with Ryan was very good. He answered questions and was prompt in his reactions. Once the process left Ryan thinks didn't go as smoothly. The estimated dollar amount for closing changed several times and questions that we asked as to why were either never answered or the response was slow. Our appraisal came in very low and after inspecting it we noted that it was incomplete and we never did receive a response about that.
