Although my experience was great the survey questions about documents, closing were N/A. My call was about problems with making a payment online.
Everyone involved was helpful and patience. Details were explained in advance to prepare oneself for the paperwork needed. Questions were answered and I enjoyed the friendliness that developed among everyone.

Insurance was prepaid, as stipulated for closing, but was also included in closing, so paid twice. I didn’t get closing documents delivered in time for close. Had to print them off myself and try to figure out what to sign. It was an absolute cluster
Great experience
As a PennyMac customer conducting a refi was a smooth and easy process.
We were told that we "just need to send xyz" and then asked for additional information several times. A list of everything at the very beginning would have been very helpful and decreased our frustration.
The speed of the process was what I liked the most.
The process could not have been simpler. I called and spoke with a loan officer, and he would put documentation in the portal. He would notify me when/what needed to be done in the portal. Then when the processing was complete, a mobile notary was sent to my house for the closing.
