The customer service that I received was great. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner and communicated well.
A quicker close. It took 5 months. Had it not been for the $500 appraisal I wouu you lad have gone to another company but didn’t want to pay it again. Make sure all employees are on same page. Got different answers from different people about same question.

I have had many real estate loans in my 40+ years of building, buying and remodeling homes both commercially and personally. Penny Mac has been the best lender to work with. Surpassed only by my small town bank, but they are no longer doing RE loans. Penny Mac was efficient, quick, efficient and friendly during every step of the way. PM was recommended to me by my brother, a RE broker and my RE broker locally was so impressed she's going to start using PM for her clients.
The process was pretty straight forward and I was able to do everything online. The loan officers were there to assist with any issues. The only issue I really had, was getting the final details after the appraisal, but once I realized it was all uploaded in the loan portal, I was able to review everything.
Easy, clear, and smooth.
Nicholas was great. The underwriters or whomever is in charge of reviewing documents are not. They requested the same documents multiple times and we're not clear with what they wanted. They made the process frustrating and repetitive.
