I asked to switch my loan from primary residence to Investment loan over 5 times until i got it done. The address on the forms was wrong and I requested several times for it to be changed, They my confidential information like social and IRS forms via email instead of through the portal. I offered to pay 20% because I've been told by OTHER companies that it was a requirement for investment property purchases, Tiras & She said it most definitely wasn't and NEVER mentioned any reason NOT to put 20% down. Nicholas was great and did a good job of keeping in touch for every step of the process.
Although there were a few potholes early in the process, we were able to correct the issues and move the process forward. One can always anticipate bumps in the road between the lender and land title people, but getting them resolved in a timely manner deserves high marks.
