I communicated by far with other Mac Team members more so than with Mr. Mayer. So, the information was not always consistent or as clearly communicated, but overall the end result was achieved. I did not close within 60 days of my lock in interest rate, which had to be extended. I guess with the number of holidays this had some mi or impact. The loan officer, Jermaine Stevenson, was outstanding! Also, I will likely refer my daughter when she is ready to purchase her first home.

Sharyl and her team were great. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The only issue I ever had was that PennyMac kept calling us and asking us to do a loan with them and we were already halfway through the process.

We have had our Mortgages with Penny Mac for years already and decided to do a cash out re-fi. I was surprised that we were treating as brand new buyers with no seeming relationship with PennyMac. We still get offers from Penny Mac to re-fi. As if we haven't worked with you already. I am a Real Estate Agent, so knew what to expect, the amount of documentation again was surprising as we were already a customer. The closing costs were much higher than we expected.
