Brian was always on top of things and available to answer any questions that I had.
Loan estimate was very accurate and they provided weekly updates for status of loan. It took a little longer than expected (Maybe due to COVID) but we closed within the 60 days they had originally estimated.
Nick was over the top AMAZING. Dalia started off good and then I could never contact her and she would not call back. I even emailed her. Her manager finally took over so we were finally able to actually close on time ONLY due to Nick!!! Nick should get all the commission from Dalia. She fizzled out at the end. Everyone at the CA office were not very nice, but everyone at St. Louis were amazing. Had some issues along the way, bad communication by Dalia, but Nick kept it going.
When I finally got through. I had a very good and informative interaction with Ben when I first contacted PennyMac He took the time to tell me several choices or refinance. He listened to me and gave me the options that fit my situation best. I was so comfortable with the information that I went from shopping to going forward with the refinance. Ben also was able to tell me all the steps going forward. Then I was passed on to the next people and they were all helpful and very precise.
More engagement from start to finish of the loan process. It was all shambles, there was clear lack of transparency from all involved, starting off with Brandon the loan officer all the way to Brian and the other reps. It was almost as if all everyone cared about was lock the refinance (like a "sale" win) and, after that, there was barely any engagements or transparency. I ended finding issues with closing documents which had inaccuracies, clearly given the total lack of professionalism.

I was kept informed. The process concluded within the expected timeline. Closing and signing was very easy. Everyone was courteous and professional.
Process was smooth, not painful at all.
I think Brian Mitchell did a great job. I didn’t like the other people I spoke with when Brian wasn’t available. But I liked working with Mr. Mitchell.
