Jason and Molly were fantastic! Everything was handled very professional and fast.
It took three times for PennyMac to schedule appointments to close on our loan. Finally, by the third time, it worked. We had issues due to the Coronavirus that needed special attention and PennyMac was not in communication with the title company. The process was more drawn out than it should have been.
Process was quick and easy. Document portal worked easily and well. Mortgage agent was prompt and effective.

Initializing the refi went fine. Julia was terrific to work with. Once the loan process moved on to the next person, communication died off and it was frustrating. Given the current pandemic, and parties working from home, etc. it is easier to understand, but no easier, given we had to make repairs in a timely manner, but prior to and post repairs there were periods of a few days with no communication. Overall, I'd say 7/10. I also advise future buyers to shop around for people to do closing.

Good explanations and support from the agent we began the work with. He set it in motion and was patient in explaining the process and what we should expect. Ms. Payton did very well at her end, helping us through the repetitive and unclear (and sometimes contradictory) document requests (not her fault) until the department which sent the requests was satisfied.
Everyone at PennyMac was knowledgeable, friendly and competent.
