Great experience
I was treated very professionally during the process. The process was made very pleasant and I understood everything expected. I was told when things would be sent and provided what was requested. This was a very pleasant experience and I would be very willing to refer my family and friends to PennyMac for any home financing.
This was the smoothest refinancing I have ever done! Sixteen days from application to closing! Lymar estimated 4-6 weeks. It pays to refinance with the company who has the existing mortgage.

3 things made my refinance experience 'just OK.' 1.) The lawyer/notary(?) arrived an hour late. 2.) When reviewing closing instructions with Gilbert Herrera, I asked if my husband could be the witness since his name is not on the mortgage (but is on the deed). Gilbert told me that my husband could witness. At closing, I learned that my husband couldn't witness. I had find a neighbor to do it. 3.) 1 doc was not presented at closing. Title company had to me sign it and FedEx it to them overnight.
