great rates and solid greatness of customer service
This was the smoothest refinancing I have ever done! Sixteen days from application to closing! Lymar estimated 4-6 weeks. It pays to refinance with the company who has the existing mortgage.
Very prompt, didn't have to leave my home. It was all taking care thru the internet.
3 things made my refinance experience 'just OK.' 1.) The lawyer/notary(?) arrived an hour late. 2.) When reviewing closing instructions with Gilbert Herrera, I asked if my husband could be the witness since his name is not on the mortgage (but is on the deed). Gilbert told me that my husband could witness. At closing, I learned that my husband couldn't witness. I had find a neighbor to do it. 3.) 1 doc was not presented at closing. Title company had to me sign it and FedEx it to them overnight.
My questions were answered fully. PennyMac personal were courteous and professional.
