Be upfront on the totally loan amount. I had to wait until papers were sign at closing to get an accurate amount. When, I was told a different amount during the process. It was $5000 more from what I was told.

Refinancing wasn’t an issue. That was short and sweet. App done and approved fast. But communication afterwards was horrible. Got multiple calls from multiple people. On callback, no one had a clue why we were called And then we’d immediately receive ANOTHER call. Really?! Notes under Loan obviously weren’t written or reviewed. People were trying to help but clueless to do so.

We were told it we were doing a no money down VA refi but that was not the case. At closing the documents said we owed closing costs on both. The first date we were set to close no one showed up. When we were scheduled to close on our rental property the notary was sent to the wrong address so we had to reschedule that too. It was just problem and problem. I definitely won’t be doing business with Penny Mac again!

Jeffries Johnson was AWESOME. He answered all of my questions and concerns and was very patient with me. He stayed a few minutes late in order for a form to complete on time for me. I felt he was more of a friend and in my corner during this process. Thank you again!!!!
