In the plus column 1) the rate and terms that I got from PM were very good compared to other lenders and 2) when I was able to speak with people they were very helpful. However, I often had a hard time getting a hold of people. My first refinance application "expired" while I was trying to get an answer to a question about the closing documents, although no one had ever communicated an expiration date of any kind to me. There were other communication issues as well

Single point of contact for the entire process. If a customer makes a request then that request should be carried out unless there are legitimate reasons. Partially without explanation is unacceptable.
