It was hard to get a hold of someone to talk to. The notary guy was sent to wrong address. They have my bosses number to notary guy to confirm my appointment. 2 weeks after closing, I was told my credit score dropped dramatically because my original loan was on forbearance and PennyMac did not advise me to cancel it before refinance which caused the previous lender report me as a late payment. I did try and called a few people before posting my feedback however no one really cared to help
Great experience. The only thing that wasn’t communicated was that we would need a witness for signing the closing documents until 30 minutes before our scheduled closing time. Luckily, our neighbor was able to be a witness.
Was highly disappointed that I had to go through another company to get a way lower loan estimate. I was quoted almost half of what penny Macs loan estimate was. Once I told them I them I was switching over of course they were willing to match the loan estimates. Y’all should be more about providing the best prices possible for your customers. I fell like instead of matching the other loan estimate you should have tried to beat it. All in all I was able to cut the loan estimate in half.

Very helpful and knowledgeable
I called about the closing money needed to close being wrong on several occasions. Each time I was told it would be corrected. Even called during closing and this time no one called me back. Sent a few emails that were never responded to. Julian was very cordial and helpful when I called to be honest but the cash at closing never got fixed until 5 days after the closing.
Easy process, clear communication
The process was very easy. The only issue I had was that my emails were not being answered within a timely manner. But other than that, would definitely recommend PennyMac to anyone that would be in the market. Thank you!!
