Refi went very well and very quick and being an existing PennyMac client I felt was an advantage since we had ‘history’ together. Already referred two friends for refi their loans with PennyMac.

Anything different than thenway you do it now. I was told the process would be stream lined but it wasnt at all. It was painful. I never got to talk to elizabeth again to discuss the loan rates. Overall im very displeased. Had i not spent so much time doing it i would have switched sooner.

There was miscommunication regarding the closing. The first time I was not informed there was an issue and that it needed to be rescheduled. Then I had to call to get the Notary's name and number to confirm my appointment. Then, after signing all the paperwork, two weeks later I am getting emails that my payment is past due. After multiple calls, I find out that my closing was mistakenly marked as cancelled and the process was not completed.

This is my first experience of refinancing my home online. Being a senior citizen, I am accustomed to face-to-face communication. My phone call to Loan Officer Albert Tigranyan was quickly handled, from Loan Application, all documents required, all explanations were complete and accurate. The m.a.c. team set-up was easy and efficient. Loan Specialist Andrew Schmelig touched base, and gave a detailed explanation of all forthcoming processes up to closing. Three (3) weeks to close.
