much better communication among personnel in your various departments-the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing! Pertinent info did not get forwarded along in the process, causing erroneous details in the closing disclosures, numerous duplicate requests for assets which caused need for first notary signing to be cancelled and rescheduled 10 days later. There was some confusion over the status of the application and the types of documents needed. But the overall experience was good. The other agents were also helpful.

Competence and clear communication with all parties would have made it a lot better. I got the impression that Jon was not very experienced or professional. So did other industry professionals I dealt with in the home buying process.

Too many people working on one loan made the communication hard and documents were not right, scheduling closing wasn't explained hardly at all

Was having a 30 day escrow it was very hard to stay on schedule and to be effectively communicated with and there was no one working on the weekends. It turned into over 20% of escrow without any kind of communication. All previous experiences had a direct line or even a cell phone to be able to get a hold of lending agents, having to call into a customer service line and have some random agent look into my file was not expected nor received well. I received phone calls over and over for the same thing and emails over and over for the same thing. It’s like the system didn’t know what was going on and duplication was taking place. People I spoke with was very professional and knew what to do when ask questions. The closing fees were never really explained clearly to me except the VA fees all the others never was communicated clear but it is what it is and we closed. I think if I had knew more I could have made a better decision on who to refinance with. Not saying Penn... read more
