When our loan was approved, we received an email. The next step was to get a notary scheduled. Nick called us about 5 days after the approval email and left a conflicting message that our loan was still going into approval. I called PennyMac and the agent confirmed it was approved and contacted Nick. Nick shared there was an amount we needed to have ready in a cashiers check. I left quarantine to have that check cut. Notary came with a conflicting amount - $0. I had to cancel the cashier chec

From day one I was explained the process and it all went as they said, we closed before time allotted. It was easy to get ahold of team members for any questions or concerns I had.

I wanted to pay the homeowners insurance and prepaid interest up front. I communicated that desire to both the loan officer and processor and they FAILED to make that happen, they were included in the loan. Calls weren't returned as promised.

I received misinformation on several occasions. Two separate closing agents contacted us and we were not sure if we were being scammed. We had to resubmit several documents that were missing because the closing agent didn’t have us to sign them. A second agent had to come out to get three documents signed. We were initially told that we were getting two months off payments. It was only one. We were told that we would receive out escrow balance in a few days, it’s been weeks.
