I'm totally pissed that I refinanced through PennyMac. I could have gone elsewhere but I didn't believing you guys in that you didn't want to lose me as a valued customer and would do what it takes to keep me...BS. I just found out you sold my mortgage as soon as it closed to FreddieMac, a company I would have been very low on my list of mortgage companies.
1. A number of emails went unanswered. 2. PennyMac's choice of title company arrived with incorrect documents. This delayed the close. Because of PennyMac's error, we incurred additional, albeit minor, additional costs. When I asked Zach why we had to pay, I got the scripted apology delivered in a monotone. 3
Considering the restraints placed on all of us by the current pandemic I feel your agents did pretty well ... however, it would have been nice to have better communications.

The time it took from my call asking about current loan rates to the closing of the loan was incredibly quick. All contact with our loan handler was friendly, professional and courteous. He was also very patient in answering my questions. This was the most "painless" loan experience ever! Thank you Nathan.
My expectations were met.
