Had some issues. Most of all, I think many of the issues on the destination end were mostly weather-related. Freezing rain was in the forecast. Travel was 4 hours each way (to and from Maryland). Therefore, team apparently tried to be on-site for just 4 hours because that would then amount to a 12-hour day for them. As a result, things were not properly assembled. I'm very disappointed that this move did not live up to all the good reviews of this company. I should have listened to my gut at the first appointment, a Saturday morning consultation at 11:00am. The consultation was a no-show. When I called the company to see what happened, I didn't receive an apology, but they scheduled Link to come out Monday evening, and he was wonderful. It was dreadful from the beginning. The supervisor called me the day before the scheduled pack day and asked if they could start the day before so get a jump on things. I hesitated and against my better judgment allowed it. I had done a lot of packing and they were to pack the rest of the house. The came in and immediately started packing and labeling boxes with yellow numbered stickers. I had a prompt and professional estimate from Sam Perry, an owner, and Perry was able to meet a 3 window requested move date. In advance of the move, I purchased $30,000 of supplemental full-replacement insurance, with a $0 deductible. Three movers arrived as planned on time the morning of my move. This was a two-day job--1st day packing, 2nd day (differentcrew) of actual moving. Summary: the packerswere very poor; the movers were excellent; the overall move was awful. Day 1, packing: Within 1/2 hour of the packers' arrival, I called thecoordinator (?), Daniel, to please come out and have a look. We used them 7 years ago. Can't speak to their current operation, but our experience in 2007 was less than satisfactory. Scratched the dining room table and had to cell the owner to get resolution. Likewise, after completing the move, I was presented with a bill that was considerably higher than the estimate. I have not recommended them since. Household moving
