Free Estimate. We packed our boxes ourselves. They wrapped and padded all the furniture. They provided free wardrobe boxes. Three very friendly and hardworking movers completed the job in about 7.5 hours. The movers were very careful with all of our things! This was the first time we've moved and not a thing got broken or had a scatch on it. They did an excellent job! Move from 3rd floor apartment to 2 story home.
The distance they moved my things was about 30 miles. They loaded and unloaded the things. They installed my washer and dryer. They were very good, careful and made sure they didn t break anything. They were punctual and also their price was reasonable. They helped me move my things.
Sam Perry took a very detailed list of my belongings via email and gave me a close estimate to my final price. Todd, Carter and David were very efficient, careful and prompt. They padded and wrapped everything. Almost a month later, Eric and Mike unloaded my things as carefully as they had loaded them. I was extremely pleased with the service I received! Load 2 bdrm. apartment in Columbia, MD, store for almost a one month and unload at condo in Lorton, VA.
The crew was the most efficient I've ever dealt with and I have dealt with over 20 companies in the last 10 years. Because the new residence wasn't available till the next day, they stored the truck in their secure lot overnight at no cost. Their estimate was below all competitors but their work exceeded our expectations. I can't say enough about this company. Bobby, the crew chief, was exceptional. I hated to see him go. Load, store, unload 1 bedroom 1 bath sized condo from McLean to Bethesda.
The 3 movers did a great job of moving me. They were courteous and friendly and efficient. It took 6.5 hours, which was a little more than the estimate, but it's hard I think to estimate how much stuff you really have until you pack it all up! The movers put together all my furniture and made it so much easier to do the rest. They even suggested where to place furniture that might look appealing. Great experience. Would hire again for all our moving needs. We had a difficult job, needing to move a large headboard from an outdoor deck up through a master bedroom window because it would not fit up the stairwell. Rich Perry came with his crew, professionally wrapped our piece, hoisted it through the window without any cranes or lifting pulleys. He smoothly got the job done without a single scratch on our piece.
Fantastic! Sam was prompt with the estimate and responsive to my questions. The price was HALF what another company wanted. Postal, Charlie, and Dave were professional, polite, and efficient. The move went smoothly, nothing broken or damaged from what I can tell so far. However, things that were stated in the estimate didn't happen such as the Door Jam Guards or the Laying of Paper to protect flooring. They were also to take my potted plants as stated on the estimate, and I was required to move them and go back later on and get them. See above!! I had 4 floors of stuff to move, and they did it in record time. Bobby the foreman was outstanding with his crew, and all were very professional. I had to find a mover fast, had heard from friends about great company that was 3rd generation movers, so called Perry. Son, Sam Perry came right to house (downtown Historic District, Annapolis) gave me a quote on spot, and scheduled move in 2 days.
