My cat couldn’t urinate and immediately took him here at 11pm at night. They started him on pains meds and put a catheter in and 3 days later he’s back to normal. They kept me informed every step of the way. Dr Love (I think her name was) was amazing! Thank you thank you thank you for saving my precious boy ❤️
We will never bring our beloved pets here again. Just the day before the New Year in December of 2020, we lost our dear boy Poopsie. We were told he had a tumor that started in his stomach, which then grew into his intestines. They told us there was nothing they could do and that we could really only have him put down. We didn’t get to see what THEY saw for them to recommend anything. However, we could only take their word of mouth, seeing how we weren’t allowed in their building. The horrible part of this all, is that even ... read more
I took my puppy there & basically I was told if she didn’t have a blood transfusion she was going to die, well she got it and 12 hours after I picked her up she died. they claimed she was stable enough to come home though? so I paid 1300$ for my dog to die 12 hours later. Also you cant go in there, have no way of seeing what they’re doing for the pet.
Horrible experience with my cat. Facility failed to properly triage the urgency of my cat’s situation. My daughter waited approximately 12 hours for my cat to be treated. Twice someone came out and took him inside, only to bring him back out to her vehicle; both times because he was “stable” and other animals had arrived that were more critical. I understand what critical means as I work in the ICU at Vidant. In the meantime, it was hot and humid outside. My cat was trapped in a vehicle for 12 hours with no food, water or li... read more
We recently had a kitten that suffered a tramautic brain injury and was having siezures regularly and it became life threatening. We ended up making two trips there. The second day, our precious Newt started having siezures closer together and I called the office probably 10 times in 15 minutes and the staff is so nice! Devynn stayed in contact with us and answered all of my questions every single time. She is such an angel!! We were left with two choices, $1500 treatment or euthanasia. we had ultimately decided to put our k... read more
Working in veterinary medicine is not easy. The hours are long, the work is exhausting, and often people aren't as kind as they could be. I've seen both sides of it, so I always try and be as calm and thankful as possible. Saturday morning, I called PEC about a puppy that had been abandoned in the parking lot at Pitt County Animal Services with what we thought was a broken pelvis. The wait was expected to be 2-3 hours, but the staff was able to immediately bring the puppy inside and start pain medication to make him as comfo... read more
They are very friendly and caring towards your pet they kept me updated the whole way.The diagnosis was definitely accurate I would say. My dog was prescribed antibiotics and steroids about 3am 11/19/2021. And I started her dose soon as I got home. And Cinnamon is feeling better already her appetite has come back and she's definitely progressing. I love the care they gave her the wait was definitely worth it. I would recommend all of my family and friends to take their pets there if needed. Big ups to Dr. Katie Hoff she was ... read more
We had to bring my Cleo in late Sunday night 9/12/2021. My old girl's heart was giving out and she was having difficulty breathing and catching her breath. At that point I knew it was time. Everybody was very nice and professional. My Cleo was able to pass in comfort with us by her side. Just laid her little head down and went to sleep. Thank You for being so understanding and caring.
