Wonderful, caring people. Highly recommend!
We took our baby in for what we thought would be just a minor suture two weeks ago. The vets who worked with her were so amazing and reassuring when we found out she needed surgery. Everyone at the clinic was very friendly and compassionate! They told us we could come back to them to have her sutures taken out, the vet came right to my car and was so great with our pup. He said we would have been waiting for hours other wise, and he just happened to encounter me in the parking lot. I am so grateful, there’s no where else I w... read more
Thank you for making a terrible and unexpected time so comforting. We appreciate the kindness and honesty.
Quick, professional and seemed to care about what my pup was experiencing.
Staff seemed nice, however, having to wait nearly 3 hours to be seen with a severe pellet injury (diagnosed hole in her eye) to my Great Pyrenees is incomprehensible!!! Emergency vets should be just that, this was an emergency and my dog should have been taken back at triage, if nothing else, just for pain control, even the vet stated how much pain she was in when my GP was finally examined; even if she didn’t seem to be in pain. 5 hours later, 5 meds to take home only to see the vet optometrist Monday, which stayed her... read more
So thankful for the care the PEC of Pitt County provided my dog Chip! The Drs and staff were compassionate and understanding. They explained everything to me and made sure I was up to date. They allowed me to call and check on him whenever I needed to. I would recommend the PEC of Pitt Co to anyone that needed their services. 🐾💕
So last night my dog, Mya, was running around with the intensity that she normally does and sustained some blunt force trauma to her chest on a tree stump. It was enough to cause a small pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung). We spent the night at the Pet Emergency Vet and there was no change in the size of the pneumothorax so we were discharged. They did an awesome job and were very nice and informative. As a physician, I very much appreciated their expertise and how they handled my injured dog. 🙏 Thankful.
We had to take my Precious (lab/chow) who was 11years old. She had what is called Bloat. I walked to the door and they opened it and sent someone out immediately he was super nice and took her in. Doctor came out very fast with a picture of the X-ray that showed the bloat. The female doctor told us it was not good and the beat thing for our Precious. We asked to be in the room when they put her down. They came and got us 3 (me, hubby and daughter. We went in room they brought her in. She payed on the bed and the nice doctor ... read more
Waited 7.5 hours and my dog was never seen. Told it be another several hours before anyone could see him. They said he wasn’t critical enough. I brought him in with a possible broken leg. Most unprofessional vet service I have ever attempted to use. Would NEVER recommend using them!!
