Get directionsPet owners beware! They left my cat in his carrier for over 2 1/2 hours with no water or litter box, brought him back to me after a three hour wait in the parking lot. My cat was screaming. He was covered in poop and pee. They took zero responsibility, apologized and said he was basically the only tech in the ER, everyone else called out. Said in happened in the 10 seconds it took to walk from the door to my car, which was impossible. I get there were more pressing emergencies. They should have put him in a kennel with water... read more
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We reported Dr. Sean Thomas to the Veterinary Board - we were not the first. Please report him and anyone else who mistreated your pet. These people can not continue to practice medicine. Something is seriously messed up at this facility -- blasting music, laughing and giggling like it's a wild party while caring for our sick and scared animals.
If i could give less than one star I would. I interviewed for my friend whose dog was in this Pet Emergency Center after being bitten by a Pitt Bull. She wasn't able to see her dog, even though she worked next door and the staff and Vet had told her that her dog was critical on oxygen, IV and a catheter. The Vet Dr Thomas met us at the front door when my friend asked that she be able to take her dog home to die at home in the presence of her family/surrounded by familiarity instead of a cold, institutional setting. Dr Thomas... read more
Please DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED PET to this HORRIBLE place on 3579 north lake blvd in Palm Beach Gardens. Please look up all the HORRIBLE reviews these people have on many other websites. They are all true, I chose not to believe them and I will always regret it. They have no compassion, they don't deserve your business and they should not be allowed to care for animals. I brought my sick cat there who they knew have been vomiting and not eating. They took hours with her wasting precious time. Last word was they would do IV ... read more
We had an absolutely horrible experience with this facility, I brought my eight-year-old 200 pound Great Dane in for bloat surgery. After the surgery he had Adema in his leg (swelling) I asked the vet what was wrong, he said as soon as Buster can get up and move around it would go away. Around 72 hours after this major surgery they released Buster, He had not ate, drank And still had swelling in his leg so bad that the pads of his feet looked as if they were going to peel right off. Less than 30 hours of being home his te... read more
I laid my sweet girl to rest early this morning. She passed just before midnight last night at the hands of the most cruel and uncompassionate people I've ever met in my life. My intuition told me I should have gone elsewhere even before I walked in the front door but Murph was so tired and scared that I was afraid to move her again and drive 30 minutes to another clinic. The staff was in no hurry to help, they played rap music in the back with the animals so loudly I could hear it in the waiting/exam room, they giggled, th... read more
My Great Dane ZOLA went to the Pet Emergency Referral Center in PGA for bloating on a Friday evening and after a "SUCCESSFUL" procedure she was sent home Saturday afternoon, Monday afternoon she is found dead. After we picked her up from Pet Emergency Referral Center that Saturday afternoon, we called Pet Emergency Referral Center, because we noticed that ZOLA was having a hard time breathing. I was told from Pet Emergency Referral Center that she was exhausted and she had to rest. ZOLA has survived a few bloating in 20... read more
Avoid this clinic. They will tell you your pet has "neurological" issues, when it is clear they ate something that didn't agree with them. They will not listen to your concerns, or observations and you will be made to feel that you must do their tests or you do not care about your animal. They had our cat for 43 hours of tests, blood work, etc, and still couldn't tell us what was wrong with her. $2,000, yes, for 43 hours of "care", $2,000 later, we were finally "allowed" to take her home and it was as if nothing was ever... read more
Avoid this office if you can. No communication. Spent 3 hours in the exam room waiting for X-ray results. Incredibly inconsiderate. And very expensive. Nurse came in with a "high" and "low" estimate like a contractor would. Find another place!
