REAL disappointed! My dog spent 8 and a half hours at PET today to get stitches on a wound on her leg (not to mention $760), that was billed at 15 minutes treatment time (which is pretty accurate; I'm a physician, and know how long it takes). It's not the cost, it's the incredible wait! To make a dog who is in pain, injured and afraid wait that long is poor care. Stay away from this place, they just want as much money as they can get from you. I took my dog there for treatment and before he was even seen by a doctor or technician, I was given an estimate of $550.00 The receptionist was nasty and called my dog an ***hole. How rude and unprofessional can you get. I think the place is a money making scam that prays on the emotions of the pet owner. I left without seeing the doctor and went to another animal hospital where the bill came to $130.00 which also included medication.
I have wrestled with doing this review for 4 weeks. The reason is I knew it was not going to a raved review, and these folks work with animals under extreme conditions, which everybody should be thankful for, BUT! When you do this type of work, you must get the diagnosis right, and perform duties such as X-Rays and medications in a competent manner.
