Get directionsVery disappointed with cremation service. Paid for private cremation for beloved pet. I spread his ashes in his favorite place, I discovered that his orthopedic hardware was not included. I have had two other pets cremated, and their orthopedic hardware has always been part of the ashes. I called and questioned. I was told they throw it away. I wonder if it was actually my dog. Suspect that private cremation is a scam. You pay more, but without identifying objects like bone plates who would know any different. This is f... read more
I would like to give no stars. I am so disappointed in the lack of care or compassion for a sick kitty that we have been treating for the past several weeks with 3 vets at our normal office and the specialist at Pet ER. After spending $1000 just two days ago for specialty testing (so obviously money is not the issue) our kitty needed some meds to tide her comfortably until morning when we can pick up our normal scrip at the regular vet. Pet ER had all her records and had just seen her but the Dr on staff this evening refus... read more
My 2 stars is for the follow up I received after I took my pet into the hospital. My dog came in and got a stitch in his paw. It was fairly late at night and never having taken an animal that was bleeding before was kind of stressful. Aftercare info went in 1 ear and out the other because my mind was in a million places. I woke up after taking my pet in the next morning to an AWFUL rotten smell. Concerned I called to ask if what was happening was normal. And also that my dog WASNT sent him with a bootie to cover his paw whil... read more
Leigh Reeve Name changed to Midnight Sun Animal Hospital- took my mom's 14 + YO dog there - with Hx of bladder stones- Dx for Vestibular Ataxia- treated for that- had to call back for bland diet approval - called back for severe anxiety- Dr prescribed trazadone 100 mg-2-3 tablets every 12 hours. As a trauma specialist I was concerned about dosage and only started her with 1 tablet- she became very lethargic and had shallow breathing - called clinic to check dosage- YES- correct for 100 LB dog- she had been weighed the previo... read more
For a pet emergency treatment place, they are very slow! We brought our pet in early in the morning. 2 hours later, we finally get in a room. The receptionist will keep telling you just a few more minutes. Don't believe her. Now, we are waiting even longer to see a vet. Don't come here!! After expressing our concern about the wait, a vet finally came in to see our pet. The vet was recommending all these different tests to complete and then, recommended a short term treatment. We went with the short term treatment.
They real dropped the ball. I brought my dog in who was not drinking water and they NEVER looked at her throat. $5000.00 dollars later my dog is still sick.
After a considerable amount of effort and communication with this "corporation" I was told a scheduled diagnostic was no longer going to happen. Each phone call was misleading as to the condition of the equipment, location of the equipment and the ability to schedule an appointment. Whether a CT scan or MRI each story was different. Their fallback position is to tell patients to go to the lower 48 with no regard of the logistical nightmare and costs associated with that suggestion. They have a corporate not a compassionate a... read more
This place was the closest place to where my dog was hit. Never mind the expensive price, the paying upfront in advance for possible things to come up and then being asked for more money. I was going through medical stuff myself and money was an isssue. Told numerous staff that I needed to know when things would be done so I would sleep with phone by my bed. Never got a call. Of course owed them more money totally 1800. Anyway, that's not the worst of it. I ended up having to go to another vet who was visibly upset ... read more
Wow don't even think about coming here for specialty services if you're not in the Anchorage area; their communication is horrendous. We had a CT scan scheduled earlier this month for our male cat, one that had been booked out for weeks. We were going to drive down from Fairbanks on a Sunday, have him seen on the Monday and drive back either later that day or on Tuesday. They called and told my husband the internal medicine specialist they fly up from Seattle once a month had to cancel due to a family emergency; they said... read more
