I was so disappointed in this place. I went based off reviews and how great the place looked but I was so wrong to try them out. Bailey (my fur baby) went in 100% healthy and in great condition. I can say that confidently because she was at the doctors 2 days prior. In the middle of her service I got a frantic call from the groomer asking if she went in with a swollen eye. If I could leave less than 1 star for this location, I would! The prices keep increasing each time I board my dog there. I paid $1.99 for their app so I can watch my dog and each time I logged in, all I got was a black screen. I called once and the staff was really rude and said they would turn the camera back on but never would. Why did they turn it off in the first place? What are they hiding? I was not going to write this review initially. However, after seeing how my kitten reacted after picking her up from Pet Paradise Hotel located by Hobby Airport, it prompted me to expose what may have taken place. I have had my kitten for seven months, and she has never hissed at me or anyone in my family. I wasn't aware that one of the requirements of any animal being boarded at Pet Paradise Hotel was to remove the collar. If I had known this I would have taken it off myself. This has been a great place in the past for my dog. Unfortunately, the customer service is lacking. When calling to check on your pet, you will have 15-20 minute hold times. Then another person answers the call because they have forgotten you are holding. Start all over, on hold again and 5 minutes later the employee states "he's doing fine" unbelievable! Pretty disappointing customer service. I called to cancel a reservation within their cancellation window and thought nothing of it. Little did I know that you need to watch them because they did not cancel my reservation as they had agreed. Instead I received an email the day before the reservation start date which I thought was odd, upon following up I discovered they had not cancelled the reservation and now since I was outside their window, they would not be refunding my deposit. I'm pretty disappointed. Pet Paradise was highly recommended to me by my sister, who boarded her aging dogs with them several years ago, so since I live nearer to it than to any of my past boarding facilities, I considered them for a stay for my three dogs later this month. Unfortunately, they wont take my dogs unless I over vaccinate them at a vet's office, because I vaccinate them myself for Bordetella & Distemper multi-valent vaccinations. I trusted this place to take good care of my dogs and somehow they burned my dog's eye and didn't even care about it when I contacted them. I also contacted corporate pet paradise and no reply either, shocking!!! My dog needed urgent care, lots of meds and huge bills but I'm just happy she's fine now. The negligence of this place was just appalling, they will never see my dogs again!!!

I have an 11-year-old Boston Terrier, that I keep in impeccable health. She sees our vet regularly, stays up-to-date with all immunization (Bordetella included!), has no health issues, and has an excellent diet and energy level. The FIRST time ever that I boarded her was two weeks ago at Pet Paradise and what happens? She gets KENNEL COUGH! So in addition to the expensive fees this place charges I'm now spending hundreds of dollars on meds and vet bills trying to nurse her back to health. I don't trust this place. They lied and my dog suffered because of it. I had called a couple weeks prior to my check-in date and asked if it was possible to have my dog put in a kennel that is at the end so he would have a dog on only one side of him. I explained that he had only been boarded once before (elsewhere) and was kept in a middle kennel, and that the staff would have to let him out last because he would not walk in front of the other kennels when they had dogs in them because he was afraid.
