The only thing good about this is the location. It's close to the airport. I found this place after seeing an ad online for a free day of boarding for new customers. Long story short due to the front desk staffs miscommunication. I never got it. I normally will give a place more than the benefit of the doubt. But I definitely had 3 bad experiences here. I'm really disappointed with the way this place handled my dog's stay. When I picked him up, he had a large infected rash, and no one had informed me about it. I have NEVER been to a grooming/boarding business that has such TERRIBLE front desk staff. I was told when booking to drop my babies off at 6am and bring proper vaccination records, when I get to Pet Paradise the office was closed and there were other cars waiting in line who I assumed also didn't know they opened at 6:30, my partner and I waited for them to open, once they did we made it inside with our babies. I've used Pet Paradise in multiple cities and decided to try this location after moving to Houston. However, I've had recurring issues--feeding mistakes, lost toys, and not receiving the correct amount of leftover food, which is expensive. During my dog's last stay, I provided clear feeding instructions, emphasizing that he had already eaten and didn't need food until the next day. My puppy came home crying. After watching the puppy cameras all day, I want to say she was only in the outside play area for about 30mins.
I don't even know where to start. After looking at the cameras and seeing how she was doing, I noticed that she has not been eating it was very concerning , so I called pet Paradise to ask if she has been eating. This is a terrible company. They lie, cheat , & steal from clients. You set up a 5 day boarding online ph all money upfront and the day before you trip, (4pm on a Sunday ) you get a call stating sorry we can't accept your animal last minute sorry nothing we can do even though you have had it scheduled for 2 weeks. I travel a lot for work and this was going to be my go to. Pet Paradise was recommended by a friend/co-worker. So what could go wrong, right? Everything went wrong. Not even 30 minutes from leaving and arriving at our Terminal at Hobby Airport, a representative calls and asked if we can come pick up our baby, really? I really want to like this place... BUT... I don't get good vibes and my gut is telling me to try somewhere else. They staff is nice but they don't seem to be very transparent or accountable. First... For our dogs "meet and greet", I watched the webcam nearly the entire time and I never saw him out of the private run.
