Dogs never go out anymore they sit in their kennel more than going outside. Management needs to figure it out!!!!! Or maybe a new manager? Sounds like manager only cares about money not your dog or employees! Former customers can back me up on this review. If you want your dog in a kennel all day especially boarding dogs, they will sit in kennel for over 3 hours a day then this is your place. They took away toys and put a bubble machine. Some dogs need toys to stay out of fights and distract them from getting in trouble!

The office manager is racist. She thinks she can be an entitled cunt that speaks to people anyway but when I checked her about her nice nasty tone and the b___ played in my face. Made me pay the subscription up, I went to pick up my dog meds and she got me discharged from the practice. So she basically just wanted my money. They don't care about your pets. not all locations are run the same and I learned that the hard way This weekend had a wonderful experience and great care in Charlotte, booked Matthew's this weekend as they were the only area location with room. Under the care of Pet Paradise my dog was neglected and DIED as a result. His medicine was not given to him AT ALL. I have the proof of the written pill dosage that he was meant to receive which was SIGNED by an EMPLOYEE there. This very same employee also lied about giving him his vital medicine on MULTIPLE occasions after being confronted. After receiving all of his belongings back it was found that the exact dosage (in the form of pill capsules) was the same amount we received back meaning NONE of his medication was given... read more

Never leave your pet here if you care about its welfare. Took a tour and in the VIP suite ( you pay extra ) dog feces were on the floor and dog's paw. a notice on the glass door said MOP. The staff was aware of this and instead spent their time talking among themselves at the front desk. Go elsewhere if you care about your pet's welfare. John Foster

The communication between staff is terrible. We told the front desk over four times that we did not want our dogs paws to be cut on the top of the paws, only underneath. We only wanted a nail trim and trim the hair under the paws. We waited 2 1/2 hours for a nail trim and we had to call because we waited so long. When we called they said he is finishing drying so it'll be 30 minutes, and we said well that's ironic because we didn't pay for a bath. I am devastated after initially being hopeful at finding a facility to fit our dogs care needs that we were not able to establish connection. The email goes to corporate, which led to some confusing communications in establishing ourselves with the Matthews NC office. We completed the online profile and our vet provided records finding that additional vaccines were required before an appt could be set (and notified that it was a two month wait) for an appt. Left without boarding 5 hours before my flight. My dogs have been going to pet paradise as long as they've been with me. Since I adopted my senior gal, she's been on chemo pills , and has gone to daycare where they've been administered (I provide gloves and told them the vet said the only thing would be to scoop up poop-which generally happens anyway at boarding facilities).
