No paradise to be seen here, the appropriate name would be pet purgatory. I dropped off my dog early in the day for daycare. Upon asking if there was a possibility for a bath I was told that he would be able to have a bath towards the end of the day. I EXPLICITLY and repeatedly said to the front desk staff member "do not cut or groom my dog, please" I asked that no one touch him with scissors or a razor. We were very excited to bring our dog to this location as it was closer to our new home. Signed up for a day at doggie day camp, got the email confirmation, everything was fine. Not one issue. Unless PP changes their procedure of the Rotation daycare , I really can't see a value in having your dog in crate most of the day. They could do that at home for free .

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I took my one year old pup in today for a meet and greet. Upon entering there was a foul stench that filled the place. Moving beyond that, there were 3 ladies at the front desk. DO NOT RECOMMEND... the staff that I met inside Matthews pet paradise were nice but I have major questions about their dog care. This is one of the most expensive boarding places in the Charlotte area. I've also boarded my dog elsewhere with zero problems. I had higher expectations for pet paradise. Made a reservation for the first time, everything went smoothly. Sadly, a family emergency came up and our vacation was cancelled. I was able to cancel my dog's reservation online easily and over 7 days before the reservation - meaning I would get a full refund. I did this on a Friday afternoon and figured the refund may not show up until Monday. I tried calling Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to make sure but could not get through. Filling out the survey for the care of our dogs they will not let you submit the survey without identifying the "group" you belong to. Absolutely bizarre, and should not be required. There was no communication and serious confusion on what actually happened on our dog's temperament test day. We had to ask them after the dogs were returned and were met with two completely different stories after having to say that the first made no sense considering we called and were told something different. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had ! I was on hold to make a reservation for 20 minutes and when they finally took my call a representative named Carmen took my call. I first asked if they had an available room for my dog and she told me YES. She took all my information and that took over 20 minutes. We went over pricing and everything was good , $38 dollars for the room from Saturday till Sunday evening , $10 dollar early drop off fee , and $20 dollars for pick up after noon on Sunday. I've been trying to find a go to dog daycare and boarding for my 8 month old puppy. This weekend was my third time going, first time boarding. Overall our impression of Pet Paradise before the weekend was good we liked that the groups were smaller and they had artificial grass.
