I have never been as heartbroken as i have going to this place. We took our 5 year old Newfoundland in for a bath. If anyone knows what a newfoundland is, you know that the breed has beautiful hair. I dropped him off for a bath and a TRIM. I picked him up six hours later and he was completely SHAVED! No fur left. I have never been so upset! The answer i got from the staff was "it's florida, he wont be hot" !!! I asked to speak to a manager and they told me no one was in today, you will have to wait till tommorrow!!! I boarded my two dogs here for 48 hours while I went out of town for Christmas. Upon arrival we told the workers that they came home last time smelling like urine and this was not acceptable. When we picked up our dogs they told us they were given a complimentary going home bath. While in the car on the way home I could smell feces. I took them both straight to the back yard to give them both a bath and noticed that our Dogs white paws were yellow. I will never bring my dogs back.

I like this place but have some concerns. I have an older dog and she is shy around other dogs. She is a Engish Springer Spaniel and should like water but doesn't. And she has arthritist in her left rear leg. The last time we picked her up she was limping, and the girls response to me was "well it must have been the playing". I told the girl that they were told that she can't rough play especially with dogs her size or larger. No resonse from the girl. Not sure we will board our 3 small dogs here again. This was the second time using this boarder, first was over a year ago and went fine. This time I have several serious concerns: 1) Upon arrival was told all the dogs had bouts of diarrhea during the stay. They were given probiotics, but no vet was consulted at any time - even though they had our vet info and I signed a paper giving permission to seek medical advice if necessary. I really regret sending my dog here for a weekend stay a few weeks ago. On the first day of our vacation while my dog was staying here overnight we received a call from Pet Paradise stating that my dog had broken his leg. No one could give us answers as to how he broke his leg. The staff said they checked on him that morning & it was Broken. Thats the only answer we received. Needless to say my dog had to have surgury and a plate put in his leg. Today is his second surgery....
