About this business

RestaurantsAmerican

This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

The hummus with balsamic vinegar dripped over it is "to die for." Since I am a vegetarian, I chose to have the crispy eggplant bites which were fantastic! I also had my usual PCG pasta (without the chicken) and was sad that there wasn't enough left to take home (because I ate it all).

There were 4 women and 2 had birthdays. We all got salads, which were excellent, and to top off the nice evening, we got 2 free desserts that were to die for. Very nice experience, we were pleasantly surprised, and we will all definately be back again. Our server was very nice and gave us good service. Thank you.

We have a long history of loving this place. This past Saturday we celebrated our 32nd anniversary with them, particularly looking forward to the pot roast and salmon. Pot roast was great, as always. But the salmon was very disappointing. Just no flavor, my wife's favorite. That put a little damper on the evening. With all the dining choices in Phoenix, I see no reason to go back there. That is sad.

Baby back Ribs excellent. Pork tenderloin very good. Mashed potatoes uniquely good. French fries very common.
