About this business

RestaurantsAmerican

This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Went there for 1st anniversary with my girlfriend. She got the tilapia which was a bit dry but I had the pot roast and it was very good. I also really liked the horseradish potatoes that came with (my gf didn't as much since she dislikes horseradish). After noticing a gift my girlfriend brought, our waiter asked if it was a birthday. We said anniversary and he gave us a dessert on the house. We picked bread pudding, which was also very tasty.

The food was very good, our waitress was a sweetheart, but I didn't realize it was sort of a bar atmosphere. There's no need for dress up, casual is fine. I've seen people in their jeans in there. It was a little pricey for what we received, but it was good nonetheless.

Was okay, but a bit pricey for the food. The lobster bisque is as good as I've ever had!

Whenever I ask my husband where he wants to go for dinner, this is usually his pick. The ribs are fantastic...exactly what you would look for in baby back ribs. The bones fall right out of the meat. And the smoky sauce is wonderful. I, on the other hand, have tried many things on the menu and am never disappointed. Also, we tried a new appetizer....shrimp ceviche, and it was yummy! It had tomatillos and avocado in the sauce and had a fantastic tang to it. Their appetizers are some of the best, and their happy hour prices are... read more

We enjoyed a "perfect" evening, and, as always, we started with the best bacon-wrapped shrimp in Arizona! We will continue to visit this fantastic restaurant as often as possible, and have recommended it to others on several occasions.

Went here for Sunday brunch--food is always delicious. The best thing is that it's not the "same old, same old" options. The corn fritter is unbelievabley good and the short rib w/ the panko egg is amazing. Go and enjoy!
