It's crazy I am writing 2 reviews for the same company but in different locations (I did not realize this was the same company when I was searching on google for another urgent care nearby). I visited this urgent care first. I called before I left and the customer service stated they closed at 8:00 pm and as long as I was there by 8:00 I would be seen. Very poor customer service. I went in for a drug screening for my job and the lady at the front desk was very very rude and sarcastic. She then passed me off to another lady who had me forward the email of approval from my job to her. All she did was print out the email and said I was supposed to call my job the Friday before which I did and when I tried pointing something out that she missed from the email she didn't even look and then snapped on me in front of the other patients. The Doctors are great- WHEN you finally get to see them. The African American receptionists do not acknowledge people when they walk in. When arriving early for an appointment, I was told they were running behind. I asked if we should leave and come back in an hour. She stated no- wait in your car. SOooo, we sat in the car for an hour and 45 minutes. It makes no sense!!
Very bad service lazy staff the African American lady who admits patients is very rude disrespectful very aggressive I came in with my wife on Saturday Aug 15 around 3PM the door was closed she was holding a clip board she pointing to the ground signaling to come to that direction didn't a say a word except co pay when I went inside the same lady asked me for my insurance when I was looking for my insurance she said stop stop I will find it like talking to a little kid stay a way from that clinc at any cost.

The registration desk charged me 150$ copay even though my card said 50$. The NP wreaked of cigarette smoke. Even though I tested positive for the flu, she wouldn't give me Tamiflu or cough medicine with codeine... "because they wouldn't help". My symptoms were present for less than 24 hours so I was a good candidate. And...she never washed her hands or used hand sanitizer in front of me.

This place always provides relatively quick and effective service. The issue with them is inaccurate billing. I had the unfortunate luck of taking my 2 daughters to this place approximately 3 weeks apart for the same sports injury. The first visit cost $17.25 after insurance and the second visit cost $283.06 after insurance. For the second visit I didn't even receive a bill. I noticed the charge on my credit card statement. Wonderful nurses, however the doctors and physician assistants are awful. I took my daughter here once and visited again for myself. I will never return because of how extremely horrible the bedside manner is of these people.
Physicians Immediate Care does not live up to their name. Not only was there at least a two hour wait, no appointments were available, the not so friendly receptionist informed me that if I signed in, I had to stay in the facility until I was seen by a physician. We do try and see patients as quickly as possible, but sometimes the severity of a patient's injury takes longer than expected and pushes everything back. Extremely rude physician. We moved from the city and have seen many doctors in our lifetime, but this one was very poor. Horrible bedside manner toward children. Wish I could say this place is good in a pinch, but we will be driving to the New Lenox location if we need immediate care again. Very clean facility though!
