My husband was very sick with severe coughing and had tried two different doctors offices and immediate care centers before he came here. He was sick for 2 months and all they could tell him was that he needed antibiotics. Thanks to Physicians Immediate Care for helping me get some help late on a Friday afternoon. I was seen and diagnosed quickly by Dr. Vilbar and sent on my way with a prescription. Dr. Vilbar was wonderful. I don't have a regular doctor right now so this was very helpful and I didn't have to suffer through the weekend.
Dr V was very nice and patient with my 3 year old son. I only wish this was not an urgent care facility so that we could see him regularly.
Able to quickly secure an appointment and confirmed in advance they accept my insurance. Unfortunately, things soured from that point. It has been 2 weeks since contracting poison sumac. Sought treatment because the rash had continued to spread and was now on my face/chin. 1) Tried handing the receptionist my driver's license and insurance card, she refused and handed me a tablet to complete the registration myself. Sure, finding an appt on Sunday is rough. However, I was lucky enough to find one open in Glendale Heights, IL. When I arrived, I waited about 10 mins to be greeted, as the front desk clerk was in the back talking away. Then she informed me that there was not a physician onsite, so the appt would be telehealth. I came in with a sore throat, dizziness, & ears hurting. How can an appt be telehealth? This is the sloooooowest urgent care I have ever been to. Do they only have one doctor or something? This was the most ridiculous wait time. The parking lot is empty and they had us waiting in a queue of people for appointments. What is the point of an urgent care of you still have to make an appointment?! I will never do this again. This place is horrible.
I literally just walked in this place 5 minutes ago at 6:05. they told me they weren't accepting anyone else's but they close at 8. mins you there were two people sitting there already. I'd hate to make it a race thing but how do you stop taking people two hours before you close
Terrible staff with scheduling and technology. Waited over 2 hours for a scheduled appointment. Had to come here for a work physical. Would never, ever recommend this place to people. Shut this place down. Do not support this place.
Something is really off around their billing. The doctors here are nice and the care received is great but trust me it's not worth the risk. The first time I visited I wasn't sent a bill I received a text saying I needed to pay immediately or my account would be sent to collections. I paid it in full. I went a second time about 6 weeks ago. I made sure they had my updated billing contact info and my new address. I did not receive a bill from them yet.
