I'm honestly not sure why they give you the option to sign in online. I know it's not an appointment, but rather a time slot. In my previous experience working in a clinic, you're supposed to take the online patients first if their time slot succeeds those in person. I came here on a Tuesday at 7:10pm (my time slot), and my name was posted as #1 next and all 4 people that listed under me were taken back first. I went here, because my doctor was off today, and the one on call never called me back. I chose this, because it's affiliated with a hospital, and it's a straight shot down on the bus. Everyone was so nice and conscientious. When you walk in, the lobby is arranged very nicely. And the place is spotless! A shout out to Neil and Bianca!
I smashed my finger in the door and came to this location last minute before work on a Thursday. I was immediately greeted with enthusiasm when I walked into the door and given prompt attention. Everyone was nice and the doctor (I hate I can't remember her name) was very attentive and verbal throughout the whole process of relieving my finger of the blood underneath the fingernail (sorry!) in short, this was a quick and thorough visit and I was very happy with the attention I received. I have been to this location at least 4 times and they have all been very nice experiences. I've had blood work done there, treated for bronchitis, an allergic reaction, etc. I have used the online scheduling system each time which definitely makes things go faster. My best 2 experiences there were with Julianne (the PA) and she is super nice and explains things in a way that are easy to understand. Dr Wong is awesome! Rarely have to wait long and you can usually get your prescription right there!
Julianne is the best - I've been here multiple times this year (skin infection which was drained, flu season [cries], and most recently some bad cramping), and I like the Diversey/Lincoln Park location the most. I've been to a few others that made me feel like I was just another person who had a problem needing to be fixed. I felt cared for here, and although the wait times can be long you have to understand it's a walk-in clinic in the middle of Chicago. This is a great urgent care center! I've never waited more than 5 minutes to get in, it's clean, and the doctors have been able to diagnose my ailments every time. Just like all urgent care centers, they can't do everything a regular family physician can. But the services they do offer are excellent and efficient - just what I'm looking for in an urgent care facility.
Dr. Wong and Jasmine saw both my hubs and kiddo this morning. They were both a sickness-mess and needed to see someone right away. I was able to make an early morning appointment when I was sitting with my 5 year-old at 3am...hooray, technology and online booking! Neither of my guys had been here before, but it's at the end of our street, so it's really convenient. I've been here multiple times and have had a great experience each time. The other people for the most part that have written bad reviews are idiots that do not understand how the world works so don't let that deceive you. Being that it is 2017, you can schedule your visit ahead of time online. I have always done that and have been seen within 10 minutes of arriving.
