No wonder they have 3 stars! Go in with driver's license, but can't find insurance card. I have group id number, my id number my drivers license and my date of birth and social security card and they told me I can't be seen because I don't have my insurance card! They won't know who to bill is what is was told
I received a strep throat test here and was billed over $300. Insurance covered $10. Online, they have the prices of various tests and procedures listed. Strep throat visits were listed as $160 total for visit and test. When I called to discuss my bill, I was told that the prices online are only accurate if you self pay and do not go through insurance. After the last call with front desk, the manager called us and apologized for the overall experience and promptly setup our appointment without any further delays. The final visit was really good. Dr. Epner is amazing - he examined us thoroughly and took the time to answer questions. The nursing and front desk staff were efficient. Really wish this had been the experience all throughout.

Do not go here! I went to this urgent care twice and both times they accepted my insurance and told me I would only have to pay the $10 co-pay. Lo and behold, I get a bill for nearly $500 dollars for both visits despite being told I would not have to pay out of pocket. On top of that, I was misdiagnosed with strep and prescribed antibiotics even though I tested negative for strep. I had been going here for 2 years now since I moved to Chicago. I recently went in to get blood work for a liver problem- due to COVID they have someone listen to your symptoms and then decide if you can come in- the employee stopped me mid sentence- did not listen to the rest of my problems, said I had to go outside and they can't perform blood work. His attitude was terrible, and had 0 care for my health nor did he even listen to my actual symptoms.
The Physicians Immediate Care website makes this place sound amazing. They claim to provide compassionate attentive affordable care and a wide range of lab tests with many done on site same-day. But that is not what was actually provided to me. They took my temperature and blood pressure and then I was able to talk to the physicians assistant. Care was fine. However, I am now hundreds in debt due to the ignorance of the workers when speaking about services and costs. If you are a college student like myself, go somewhere that actually cares about you and doesn't make false promises. This place is ridiculous. Been back and fourth with their billing department too and you'll be lucky if you can find a single person who doesn't throw you an attitude over the phone and doesn't treat you like you're wasting their time.

I don't know the details of what occurred; however, we publish our cash pricing on our website for patients who choose not to submit to their insurance. If you filed through your insurance, you are responsible for what your insurance company determines to be "your responsibility;" this is usually a deductible or other out-of-pocket costs.
Beware of the billing/cost. It cost hundreds of dollars for a sore throat and we have insurance. I wasn't even given a statement of my charges and when I called the billing department I was given nonsense answers. Honestly the billing feels like a scam.
I just received a bill in the mail for services from a recent visit in January. In short, I experienced what seemingly appeared to be a bronchial spasm (or asthma attack). I am not asthmatic and was unclear if I'd developed asthma or was experiencing allergies. Nonetheless, my first visit was amazing.
